Preparing and presenting music to a high standard is notoriously expensive. The Chorale rehearses about nine months out of the year, assisted by professional choral musicians. It supports students and others through scholarships and residencies. It maintains an office with part-time administrative help. The Chorale hires orchestras, typically once a year, and soloists more frequently. And it performs not only in its own regular concerts but at other community and state-wide events. All this costs money.
In addition to members’ dues, ticket sales and fundraisers, the Chorale depends heavily on grants from foundations, corporations and government agencies, and on the gifts of many individual and business patrons. Without your help, we wouldn't be able to continue making such great music. Thanks for everything you've done for us!
